Rachel Jeantel is actually very pretty and not as dumb as people may think. Though I can testify that she is not the most articulate person in the world, she is only 19 and handles herself very well when speaks publicly. Most children don't have good speaking skills in public, but you can tell her skills have vastly improved throughout the course of a year that the Zimmerman trial began. It is unfortunate that the only reason she is now famous is because a child died.
What is fortunate is that Jeantel is able to take advantage of an opportunity that she could not have taken advantage of any other other way.
